The CALIFORNIA CHINESE ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION (CCEA) (previous California Chinese Civil Engineering Association) is organized under the Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation Law, registered in the State of California, and was approved by the Secretary of State of California in October of 1993.The purposes of the association are:
CCEA is headquartered in Sacramento, California with branches in Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
- To improve Chinese engineers' professional performance and practice;
- To encourage technology and information exchange and to enhance friendships among fellow Chinese engineers and their families;
- To voice concerns of Chinese engineers in State of California;
- To promote professional and cultural exchange between Chinese and American engineers;
- To facilitate engineering exchange programs between China and the United states.
