2010 CCEA
Election
Dear CCEA Members:
The six week long 2010
CCEA election has come to a successful conclusion. We are so fortunate to have
a big group of highly qualified candidates in this election. They all deserve
our admiration and appreciation for their willingness and devotion in serving
our members and our communities. They are all great role models and have set
great examples of promoting volunteerism in our organization. They are all
great assets to our organization whether they are elected or not. We are here
to solute them and wish them all the best.
The election committee
announced the official election results at the CCEA-CCCS Chinese New Year
Celebration Party on January 30, 2010.
This announcement is intended to inform all our members the official
election results in writing and also to officially conclude the 2010 CCEA
Election.
As
of the mid-night of Friday, January 29, 2010, there are 79 legitimate ballots
received and tallied by the election committee. The record setting election turn
out rate is 83%. Based on the final ballot tallies and the CCEA Bylaws Article
5.2 “The Council shall have the authority to elect the President by
a simple majority vote” and Article 5.3 “The Council shall
have the authority to elect a Board of Directors by a simple majority vote”,
the President-elect of CCEA is Mr. Cliff Li and the Board Directors-elect are
Frank Cao, Kang Chen, John Feng, Liqun Ke, and Lily Wang. Congratulations to
all newly elected CCEA officers! We believe that the new CCEA leadership is
going to continue to strive for excellence and to make our organization
thriving in our communities.

The members of the
election committee have felt so honored for being able to serve our
organization and its members during this election. We would like to express our
deepest appreciation to all our members for such unparalleled participations in
this election and for giving us and the organization such overwhelming support
through out the six week long election process. Your enthusiastic involvement
surely makes our CCEA a better, stronger, and more vibrant organization. We
also want to express our sincere gratitude towards the out-going President, Mr.
Shawn Wei, and his Board of Directors for putting their trust and strong
support behind us to conduct this election.
This announcement
concludes the 2010 CCEA Election and we hope you will continue to actively
participate in and support CCEA in the future.
