Dear CCEA Members,

It's that time again: the Annual Election for CCEA Board Directors. Here is the current status of CCEA Board Directors:

	Mr. Cliff Li	2nd term, 2nd year
	Dr. Sherry Wang	2nd term, 1st year
	Dr. Dongmin Luo	2nd term, 1st year
	Ms. Jackie Xiong	2nd term, 1st year
	Ms. Jane Zhang	1st term, 2nd year
	Dr. Jinxing Zha	1st term, 2nd year
	Mr. Kang Chen	1st term, 1st year
	Mr. Kun Hu	1st term, 1st year

According to CCEA Bylaws, we need to elect three Board Directors to replace Mr. Cliff Li, Ms. Jane Zhang and Dr. Jinxing Zha. However, Ms. Jane Zhang and Dr. Jinxing Zha can be re-elected for the second term.

In order to process this election, a election committee, including Patrick Lam, Sue Xu and myself, has been formed. The election schedule will be:

Nomination: 11/25/2008 - 12/20/2008
Vote: 12/27/2008 - 01/23/2009

The new elected Board Directors will be announced on CCEA Chinese New Year Party (1/25/2009).
